With 7:50 left in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cam Johnson was replaced by Nikola Jokic. Johnson suffered an ankle injury and is now doubtful to return. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.
Prior to exiting, Johnson contributed four rebounds and three assists while shooting 0-of-6 from the field in 23 minutes of action.
If Johnson is out for an extended period of time, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown would be the likely beneficiaries.
Denver plays on Monday in Utah then is off until a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday at home.
