The NBA has two late Sunday games in Los Angeles after a handful of early matchups. One of the games is between the New Orleans Pelicans and LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome. It’s the second game of a back-to-back for the Pelicans, who have won four straight. Each roster has some very intriguing stories to follow, so let’s break down the matchup and find some Pelicans vs. Clippers player prop bets.
The Clippers are 7.5-point home favorites with the total set at 223.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The two teams play three times in the next three weeks, and the Clippers won by two points on Halloween in the first matchup.
The Pelicans started the year just 3-22 and are still only 19-42 even after winning four straight and six of their last eight. The team has dealt with a slew of significant injuries, but they do have some exciting young players in the mix as well. On the other side, the Clippers are 27-31, but they traded James Harden at the deadline and have dropped three straight coming into this contest. They are still in the final spot for the Play-In Tournament as the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference, but it’s been a disappointing season overall.
On the injury report, the Clippers listed John Collins as questionable and Darius Garland as out. On the other side, the Pelicans listed Trey Murphy III and Dejounte Murray as available and Zion Williamson as questionable after he left Saturday’s game early with an ankle injury.
Pelicans vs. Clippers Best Prop Bets
Dejounte Murray o18.5 Points + Assists (-119)
Murray returned from his Achilles injury and made his season debut last Tuesday. He missed just over a full year, not playing from Jan. 31, 2025, through Feb. 25, 2026. He stepped right back into the starting lineup, and had 13 points and three assists in 25 minutes, while helping the Pelicans upset Golden State.
He played again on Thursday against the Jazz and looked even better with 17 points and nine assists in 26 minutes to easily cruise over this prop line.
Murray sat out Saturday’s rematch in Utah with the expectation that he’ll be good to go for the second game of the back-to-back on Sunday. He’ll be playing alongside Murphy for the first time this season, and the two guards may have to carry more of the offense if Williamson is out.
Either way, his minutes should begin to creep up as he gets back to full speed, and Murray has already taken on a large and productive role in the Pelicans’ backcourt.

Kris Dunn 6+ Assists (+127)
Dunn has stepped into a more involved role in the Clippers’ backcourt since the Harden trade, and his assist line is lagging a little behind his recent production.
For the season, he’s averaging just 3.6 assists per game, so this alternate line at first may seem extremely high. However, in his last 10 games, Dunn has at least six assists eight times and is averaging 5.9 assists per game.
He had a weird outlier with zero assists against the Magic last Sunday, but he bounced back with seven assists against the Lakers on Thursday—his most recent contest. In what should still be a favorable matchup against the Pelicans, Dunn has a good chance to dish out six dimes and deliver on this juicy plus-money prop on Sunday.
Jeremiah Fears u20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)
With both Murphy and Murray back, Fears will likely be in a dramatically reduced role. I backed the rookie in yesterday’s props, and he delivered a huge game to go over his prop line. I’m a big fan of Fears overall, but I’m just not confident he’ll get enough minutes to get over this prop on Sunday night.
He went over this prop line easily with 34 PRA in that matchup, but was under this prop line in three straight before that (two with Murray). He had gone under this prop line in 13 of his last 16 games before Saturday’s outburst against Utah.
Fears has the potential to get back over this if things get lopsided and he plays a bunch of garbage time, but if the game is competitive, he likely won’t get a large enough chance to go over 21 PRA.
Bonus Parlay Pick: Kawhi Leonard u2.5 3PM (-130)
If you’re building an SGP (Same Game Parlay) from this Sunday night matchup, adding in the under on Leonard’s 3PM boosts the odds to +1000 for these four Pelicans-Clippers bets.
Leonard is getting plenty of work without Harden, but he has been under this prop line in nine of his last 11 games. He has typically been very active, averaging 27.9 points per game over that 13-game stretch, but he’s only shooting 32.9% from long range and averaging 2.1 3PM per game over that stretch.
