Sunday presents an 11-game slate, and below are three of my favorite NBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s slate.
Top NBA player prop bets
Matas Buzelis O 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-123)
With the Bulls shorthanded, Buzelis has been putting up big numbers as the team’s top option. In his last two, Buzelis has posted 32 points, seven rebounds and two assists vs. the Hornets, and then 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists vs. the Trail Blazers. During this span, Buzelis is leading Chicago with 34.5 minutes per game and a 27.8% usage rate.
For the second straight game, the Bulls will be without Anfernee Simons (wrist), Jaden Ivey (knee), Jalen Smith (calf) and Patrick Williams (quad) on Sunday. Buzelis’ massive role isn’t going anywhere and he is going against a Bucks defense that ranks 24th in rating this season. Buzelis is also on his home floor and he should produce a large stat line.
Jaylen Brown O 11.5 Assists + Rebounds (-114)
In addition to his elite scoring, Brown has been excellent as a passer and rebounder since the All-Star break. In his first four starts since the break, Brown is leading the Celtics with 10.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game, and he has posted at least 14 AR in each of these four contests. Over this time, Brown is leading Boston with 16.8 rebound chances and he is averaging 10.3 potential assists per game, which ranks second for the Celtics, behind only Derrick White.
Coming to Boston tonight is the 76ers, who will be without Joel Embiid (oblique). Philadelphia is allowing 116.8 PPG with the former MVP inactive this season and topping 11.5 AR shouldn’t be difficult for Brown in this matchup.
Precious Achiuwa O 7.5 Rebounds (-110)
Since the All-Star break, the Kings have relied on Achiuwa in their front-court. The veteran is logging 30.1 minutes per game in his first five starts since the layoff, resulting in 9.4 rebounds per game. Achiuwa has grabbed double-digit rebounds in all but one of these five games and he is averaging 15.8 rebound chances per game over this time.
Achiuwa is facing the Lakers tonight, who are giving up the third-fewest rebounds per game this season (40.8). Still, 7.5 rebounds is an inexcusably low line for Achiuwa and he needs to be backed for this over.
