The 2026 edition of the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches wraps up on Sunday, March 1. It’s the first of four PGA TOUR events in a row in Florida, and sets up next week’s Signature Event at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard at the famous Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Before the top golfers in the world head to that event, though, the Cognizant wraps up at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The prize money handed out on Sunday will be a total of $9.6 million, with the winner taking home $1.728 million for a victory.

Shane Lowry and Austin Smotherman sit atop the leaderboard coming into the day with a one-stroke lead over Nico Echavarria and Taylor Moore. A total of 11 golfers start the day within five shots of the lead. It should be a great finish to an exciting week at the Cognizant Classic. Lowry is the betting favorite at +148 to win, with Smotherman starting the day at +365. Ricky Castillo, whom I’ve been backing all week in different round props, starts the day at +2000 for a come-from-behind win.

Here’s how the top-25 finishers will be paid at the conclusion of the tournament. Ties will be evenly divided among the included positions. For example, a four-way tie for fourth would result in the total purse for fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh evenly divided between the four players.
