In the second quarter of Saturday’s game vs. the Lakers, Will Richard was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a right ankle sprain. There is no indication of how the injury occurred or the severity of it.
Before exiting, he played five minutes. He contributed four points and a rebound. The injury comes at a brutal time for the rookie as he’s coming off three solid performances in his last four games, scoring 17,11 and 21 points. Golden State has the day off on Sunday before hosting the Clippers on Monday.
