Alex Pereira has conquered two levels of the UFC Pagoda, as he became the middleweight champion back in 2022 then moved up and claimed the light-heavyweight crown a year later.

On Friday, Dana White announced that Pereira is relinquishing his light-heavyweight belt in order to try for the trifecta – the heavyweight belt.

Jiri Prochazka will now face Carlos Ulberg in the main event at UFC 327 for the vacated light-heavyweight championship.

Prochazka is 32-5-1 in the UFC and last fought Khalil Rountree Jr. back in October of 2025. He won that fight by knockout in the third round.

Ulberg is 14-1-0 in the UFC. His last match was in September of 2025 against Dominick Reyes. Ulberg won by knockout in the first round.

Prochazka opens as a -142 favorite to win this fight on DraftKings Sportsbook, with Ulberg listed as a +120 underdog to get his hands on the light-heavyweight belt.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
