This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. Man City have come roaring back into the title race, and have a chance to close the gap to two points with a win at Elland Road. It won’t be easy, however, as Leeds are in good form and have a solid home record.
I’m still backing the Citizens, however, as they are arguably the most in-form team in the country. A 2-1 win at Anfield earlier this month seems to have unlocked a new gear in this team. They have now won five straight games in all competitions, and are unbeaten in eight in a row. On the flip side, Leeds are also in decent form at the moment. They are undefeated in their last four games in all competitions since their loss to Arsenal. They don’t play Man City every week, however.
Two or more goals have been scored in each of City’s last 14 games in all competitions. For Leeds, two or more goals have been scored in their last six. City are tied for the lead in league goals scored this season, while Leeds have conceded the fourth most. Two or more total goals in this match should be no problem.
City have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning each of the last five Premier League meetings. The reverse fixture was tighter than expected, as a Phil Foden winner in the 91st minute proved to be the difference in a 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium.
I expect another close encounter on Saturday, but City’s red-hot form should prove too much for a resilient Leeds side.
