Best NHL props for Friday 2/27/26
Logan Thompson Over 25.5 Saves (-115)
Thompson remains one of the NHL’s most consistent goaltenders this season, ranking third in goals saved above expected and 11th in SV% above expected. Tonight, he’ll face a Golden Knights squad that ranks 12th in shots per game and 10th in 5v5 total shots. The Capitals rank 14th in shots allowed per game and 13th in 5v5 total shots allowed. Vegas will also be near 100% healthy, as all the players who participated in the Olympics are expected to return tonight.
Joel Eriksson Ek 3+ Shots on Goal (-110)
Eriksson Ek ranks second on Minnesota in 5v5 shots per 60 and fourth in 5v5 shot attempts per 60. He totaled just seven shots across the final six games before the break, but he logged five against Colorado last night and has performed well on zero days’ rest this season. The 29-year-old has cleared 3+ SOG in six of nine zero-rest games. Additionally, he has found success against Utah in the past, clearing in five of the past six meetings. The Mammoth allow the sixth-fewest shots per game, but the Wild average the 10th-most shots per game, so something has to give.
