What happened to Norman Powell? Live injury updates for Heat vs. 76ers on Thursday 2/26/26

With 4:46 left in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Norman Powell was replaced by Tyler Herro. Powell entered the game questionable with a groin issue was eventually cleared. He has now been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.

Prior to exiting, Powell contributed three points, three rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes of action.

Kasparas Jakucionis would be the likely beneficiary if Powell is out for an extended period of time while Tyler Herro could start getting over 30 minutes of run now.
