Los Angeles presents Edwards with a B-plus matchup, plus Ant is better on the road than he is at home. He averages 32.9 points per game in away contests, reaching 25 points 83% of the time.
Best Kawhi Leonard player prop for Timberwolves vs. Clippers

Kawhi Leonard is averaging 28.0 points per game, having reached 25 in 61% of his appearances overall. Over his last 10 games, Leonard has broken 25 eight times. His two misses in that stretch were at 23 and 24 points, too, so Leonard has an extremely high floor. Leonard averages 31.5 points per game at home, scoring at least 25 in 77% of his home games. He has never scored fewer than 21 points at home this season – again, very high floor.
Per DraftKings, the Timberwolves present Leonard with a D-minus season matchup grade. However, Leonard already scored 41 points the last time he faced Minnesota in Los Angeles.

Best Donte DiVencenzo player prop for Timberwolves vs. Clippers
Pick: Donte DiVencenzo 3+ three-pointers (-131)
Donte DiVencenzo is once again one of the most prolific long-range shooters in the NBA this year, ranking 10th in three-point makes per game at 3.1. He has gone for 3+ threes in 68% of his appearances, including all three since the All-Star break. DiVencenzo hasn’t hit that many triples in either of his previous appearances against the Clippers this season, but Los Angeles does still present an A-minus season matchup grade. This bet has also hit in eight of DiVencenzo’s last 10 road games, and he has not hit fewer than two threes in that whole sample.
From a value standpoint, DiVencenzo actually hits 3+ three-pointers more often than his teammate, Anthony Edwards. And yet, the odds for Thursday’s game suggests Edwards is twice as likely to do so.
Best Bennedict Mathurin player prop for Timberwolves vs. Clippers
Pick: Bennedict Mathurin 30+ points + rebounds + assists (-252)
Looking at the full-season numbers doesn’t paint a very convincing picture for Bennedict Mathurin to notch at least 30 combined points, rebounds and assists on any given night. He averages 26.4 and has only reached 30 in 39% of games, plus he is going against a D-minus season matchup grade in the Timberwolves.
On the other hand, Mathruin is averaging 31.8 PRA and reaching 30 PRA in 60% of his appearances since arriving in Los Angeles ahead of the trade deadline, despite coming off the bench. He has achieved the feat in each of his last three contests coming out of the All-Star break, averaging 18.0 field goal attempts, 11.3 free throw attempts, 28.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in that span. The Clippers’ primary James Harden replacement, Darius Garland, still isn’t healthy, so there is no reason to suspect Mathurin’s usage will take a hit anytime soon. Leonard’s absence shouldn’t hurt, either.
Also, Minnesota’s matchup grade goes to an A-minus when looking at just their last 10 games.
