What happened to Jamal Murray? Live status updates for Celtics vs. Nuggets on Wednesday 2/25/26

UPDATE: Murray will not return.

With 4:09 left in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Boston Celtics, Jamal Murray was replaced by Bruce Brown. Murray has an illness and is questionable to return.

Prior to exiting, Murray contributed two points and an assist in eight minutes of action.

If Murray is unable to return, Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. would be the biggest beneficiaries, while it’s possible KJ Simpson gets a few minutes of run.
