What happened to Isaiah Joe? Live injury updates for Thunder vs. Pistons on Wednesday 2/25/26

Isaiah Joe was replaced by Luguentz Dort with 3:28 left in the second quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. Joe suffered a left glut contustion and will not return to the game. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.

Prior to exiting, Joe contributed three points, two rebounds, one assist, and a steal in 14 minutes of action.

Jared McCain started the second half for Joe and he would be the biggest beneficiary if he’s out for an extended period of time.

The Thunder are currently dealing with a bevy of injuries to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ajay Mitchell, Alex Caruso, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Since Joe did not return to play in the second half, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
