NBA Best Bets: Top Kings vs. Rockets prop bets for Wednesday 2/25/26

The Houston Rockets still sit near the top of the Western Conference standings but have struggled to find consistent momentum ever since 2026 began. Tonight, they get a shot at a very winnable matchup against the Sacramento Kings, but the latter stunned them earlier this season with a 111-98 win. In this league, anything can happen — even a roster with most of its stars shut down can occasionally challenge a contender.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Houston is a 13.5-point favorite at home with -950 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set at 221.5 combined points.

Here are the top Kings vs. Rockets prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup.

Best Kings vs. Rockets player prop bets

Jabari Smith Jr. over 16.5 points (-102)

While he’s something of a streaky shooter, Jabari Smith Jr. is looking very good as of late. While he started the new year rather poorly, he shook off a six-game slump in mid-January. Since January 13, he averages 16.7 points and 7.3 rebounds with a 41.6% 3P%. Over his three games since the All-Star break in particular, he’s putting up 22.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.0 made threes while shooting 68.4% from the field and 54.5% from beyond the arc. He also just produced possibly the best outing of his career in a win over the Jazz with 31 points, so he should feel energized heading into tonight’s game.

Over this 20-game sample since January 13, Smith Jr. has gone over tonight’s line of 16.5 points in exactly half of his appearances. He’s not the featured guy in this offense by any means, but he does average 12.5 shots a night and has quietly played a key role. The Kings are frankly one of the NBA’s worst defenses with 121.0 PPG allowed to opponents, conceding the league’s worst FG% to foes at 49.5%. Sacramento also gives up the eighth-most points to power forwards. Since he’s hot at the moment, I like Smith Jr. to get over this line and score at least 17 points to keep up his newfound level of excellence.

Maxime Raynaud under 8.5 rebounds (+107)

Okay, so maybe Maxime Raynaud is a better player than we thought. The young center made his way to the NBA via France and has contributed 10.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game with a workload of almost 24 minutes a night. At 7-foot-1, he has the size to snag boards and play a key role on the glass, and he’s done a perfectly fine job at filling in for Domantas Sabonis amidst an injury-riddled campaign for the star big. Over his last five contests in particular, Raynaud has four double-doubles with a 21-point, 19-board line in that span as well.

That hot streak is highly unlikely to continue tonight, though. The Rockets dominate the glass thanks to one of the NBA’s biggest lineups with the aforementioned Smith Jr. in the frontcourt along with Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson, plus Kevin Durant as well. Their 48.5 rebounds per game lead the league, as does their 54.7% REB%. Houston also allows the third-fewest rebounds to opponents as well, so the outlook for the Kings doesn’t seem too positive. Despite Raynaud’s impressive play, he’ll be competing with plenty of stellar rebounders and should stay under 8.5 boards tonight. The plus odds make this an even better play, too.
