The Cleveland Cavaliers are a strong 6-1 since trading for James Harden, but they’ll operate without a pair of stars tonight as Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley have both been ruled out against the Milwaukee Bucks. As the Beard presumably carries the load tonight (if he plays), there are plenty of prop bets to consider for this evening’s betting cards.

Jarrett Allen 11+ rebounds (+103)
The Cavaliers’ starting center has been awesome this month, plain and simple. Jarrett Allen averages 14.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season but has seen those marks increase to 21.4 points and 11.9 rebounds in the month of February. He’s shooting an incredible 74.0% from the field over this nine-game sample as well, so there’s no denying that we’re watching something special at the moment. He’ll work as the primary big man tonight with Evan Mobley sidelined as well, opening the door for an even bigger impact on the glass.
Over his nine games this month, Allen has recorded double-digit rebounds in eight appearances and pulled down 11 or more on five of those occasions. This dominant stretch should be quite encouraging to bettors looking to target his lines tonight, even with Donovan Mitchell out and Harden questionable as well. Given those injuries to key playmakers, I’m looking toward a rebounding prop for Allen here against the Bucks. Milwaukee ranks 27th in total rebounds, 26th in REB% and 17th in opponent rebounds allowed. You can do the math on the matchup, but Allen is primed to clean the glass tonight against Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner in the frontcourt.
Ryan Rollins 18+ points (-122)
The Bucks have been surprisingly competitive this month, even without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup. At 6-3 in February, they’ve admittedly benefitted from a very easy schedule on this stretch but have still seen impressive contributions from a couple of guys. Guard Ryan Rollins is one such name — he’s good to begin with but has caught fire across his eight games so far with 22.3 points and 5.0 assists a night, shooting 48.9% from the field with a three-point percentage of 52.7%. He’s commanding the highest usage rate of any month-long split thus far at 27.8% as well, fueling this bump in production.
Getting to at least 18 points shouldn’t be too difficult for Rollins tonight. The Cavaliers allow 115.0 PPG to opponents, good for 14th in the NBA. They do have the 12th-best DEFRTG, but also rank 27th in opponent three-point percentage at 37.1% while conceding the eighth-most makes from beyond the arc. That’s something Rollins can target in this game as a perimeter creator given his recent scorcher. Furthermore, he’s tallied at least 18 points in all but one of his games this month as well. In fact, all seven of those appearances saw him record at least 21 points, with the lone miss a 14-point outing against a tough Magic defense. This kid can play, plain and simple, so taking an alt line of 20+ points makes sense too at +129 odds.
