BREAK IT DOWN:
(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Victor Vembanyama First Point Scorer (+384): First point scorer props have become extremely popular on the DraftKings Sportsbook in recent weeks, and it’s no wonder why Wembanyama is often one of the public’s go-to bets in that market. Not only is the former first-overall pick a skilled scorer, but Wembanyama’s 7’4 presence at the opening tip-off is a huge advantage when it comes to the Spurs securing the game’s opening possession — and, likely, the opening field goal attempt. San Antonio has won the tip in 86.7% of its last 15 matchups. Wembanyama’s only recorded the game’s first point in two of those 15 contests, as is how this risky market tends to go, but he leads the team with a 29.2% first quarter usage rate for the season as a whole. He’s clearly the No. 1 option whenever he’s on the floor.
Nikola Jokic Triple-Double, Yes (+109): Just when you think you’ve gotten to a point where a Nikola Jokic stat line can no longer impress you, the former MVP goes out and has a performance like he had on Sunday night against the Warriors. In 35.9 minutes of action, Jokic registered 35 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists — his 21st triple-double in his 42 starts in 2025-26. It’s also Jokic’s fifth triple-double in his last seven games, as the 31-year-old tries to keep the Nuggets in the top four seed in the Western Conference. Boston is far from an ideal opponent to go hunting for triple-double props, as the squad ranks seventh in defensive rating (112.0) and dead-last in pace (95.6). That said, at plus-money, this is never a bad bet with Jokic.
De’Aaron Fox 7+ Assists (+120): Fox is coming off a horrendous shooting performance against the Pistons on Monday, yet the All-Star still managed to finish that nine-point victory with seven dimes. It’s the ninth time in San Antonio’s past 12 games that Fox has registered at least seven assists. It’s also a span of time where Fox’s 7.3 assists per contest rank just outside the top 10 of the league, though that’s easily the best mark on the Spurs, as is Fox’s 12.7 potential assists per game. In terms of matchup, the Raptors happen to allow the second-fewest opponent assists per contest (24.5). However, they’ll be on the second night of a back-to-back set, and potentially without the services of Defensive Player of the Year candidate Scottie Barnes (quad), who is questionable. I don’t mind the public taking a chance here.
3-Pick Parlay
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
