We head to the Champion Course of PGA National (par 71, 7,223 yards, Bermuda greens) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, for the Cognizant Classic. This venue has been the home of the Cognizant Classic since 2007 and for this week, there will be 121 golfers competing and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Gary Woodland to make the cut (-198)
Woodland continues to be a strong cut maker on the PGA TOUR, missing only two cuts in his last 11 starts. Plus, he has been great at PGA National throughout his career. Woodland has made nine-of-11 cuts at the par 71, including four top-eight finishes, one of which was a runner-up in 2017. The veteran has shot 68 or better 10 times at PGA National and he ranks ninth among this field in strokes gained per round at the Florida venue.
Adam Hadwin to make the cut (-170)
Hadwin has fared well at PGA National, finishing T31st, MC and T8th in his three starts at the track. Hadwin carded a 65 his last time at PGA National and ranks eighth among this field in strokes gained per round at the course. Hadwin returns to PGA National this week riding a five made-cut streak between the PGA TOUR and the Korn Ferry Tour. In his second-to-last start, Hadwin finished runner-up at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Panama Championship earlier this month. This was a very promising sign for the veteran who is trying to work his way back to full-time status on the PGA TOUR after a disappointing campaign in 2025. Hadwin should be highly motivated this week to show his game has come a long way after last season and the veteran should be able to grind a made cut at this course he knows very well.
Sam Ryder to make the cut (-168)
Ryder has made nine of his last 12 cuts with five top-30 finishes over this time and his putting has been elite, ranking fourth in SGP when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds. Performing well with your flat stick is a must at PGA National, as four of the last five winners have finished the event top-15 in SGP. Ryder is no stranger to succeeding at this track. The veteran has never missed a cut at PGA National in five starts and two of these finishes have been top-10 results. Ryder has a 63 and a 64 on his resume at the par 71, and him missing the cut at this venue would be a surprise this week.
