What happened to Jalen Johnson? Live injury updates for Wizards vs. Hawks on Tuesday 2/24/26

UPDATE: Johnson (hip) will not return on Tuesday.

In the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Wizards, Jalen Johnson went down the tunnel to the locker room and was listed as questionable to return with a left hip injury. At this moment, it is unclear how the injury occurred and the severity of it.

Before exiting, he played six minutes. He scored five points and added three rebounds before being replaced by Jonathan Kuminga. If he does not return on Tuesday, Hawks fans will be hoping that he can heal up for Thursday’s game when the team plays Washington once again.
