Talk about a wild finish in LA. The two teams were trading clutch buckets back and forth, but it was Paolo Banchero and the Magic who came out on top. Banchero provided a crucial dime to Desmond Bane that swung the game in Orlando’s favor down the stretch.
Luka Doncic gave it his all, but Banchero is the king of the night. He put up a whopping 36 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to overtake Tyrese Maxey and claim the crown. That’s a handsome $810 bonus bet heading to all Banchero backers. Here’s a look at the final leaderboard for tonight:

Down To The Wire
Anthony Edwards gave a valiant effort, but it was not to be. That means that, once again, it all comes down to the Lakers game.
Paolo Banchero is right on the doorstep with 48 P/R/A as we head into the last five minutes of a tie game. Can he leap to grab the crown? Does Luka have a late run in him? We have so many questions to answer.
PB & J
With time winding down in the Wolves-Blazers game, Anthony Edwards is falling off his pace. But Paolo Banchero continues to pick up momentum. He’s destroying the Lakers through three quarters with 31 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
With only six more P/R/A to tie Tyrese Maxey and seven to win, the crown is within his grasp. But Luka Doncic is not too far behind at 34; if he starts cooking, he can close that gap in a hurry.
Neck And Neck
We’re still looking at the same players to overtake Maxey. Midway through the third quarter, Anthony Edwards is up to 35 P/R/A. With that game close, it stands to reason that he’ll keep cooking for the rest of the night.
At halftime in LA, Luka Doncic remains on pace to overtake Maxey with 50 P/R/A. But Paolo Banchero is right behind him at 24. That one could come down to the wire. Grab your popcorn, folks.
Two To Go
The Celtics are wrapping up their beatdown of the Suns, and nobody is challenging the top spot in that game. This leaves us with two more: the Wolves vs. Blazers game and the Magic vs. Lakers game.
So far, Anthony Edwards is the most viable candidate in the first game. As they head into halftime, Edwards has 20 points to go with four rebounds and two assists, putting him on pace to eclipse Tyrese Maxey. Predictably, the Lakers stars are going wild against the Magic: Luka Doncic and LeBron James have 14 P/R/A apiece, and the first quarter isn’t over yet.
There’s a lot of ball left to play, and more than a few promising candidates. Let’s see how things shake out.
Maxey Stays On Top
We had some players give it a real go. Cason Wallace, Matas Buzelis, and Kevin Porter Jr. all came within a few P/R/A of the top spot, but with the early window closed, Tyrese Maxey remains on top.
But the main event is still on the docket. The Celtics and Suns game is more than halfway over, and the Timberwolves and Blazers are in the first quarter. Orlando and LA are set to clash in a few minutes, with the night’s projected P/R/A leader, Luka Doncic, ready to play. Did Tyrese do enough to hold off Luka? Or will he capture another crown? Perhaps an unknown challenger will emerge?
Wallace Hits A Wall
Cason Wallace had a terrific performance, but it wasn’t enough to take the crown from Maxey. Wallace had 27 points, eight rebounds and six assists for 41 PRA.
It was an impressive attempt, but second place doesn’t get you the crown.
Kuminga On The Rise?
In his Atlanta Hawks debut, Jonathan Kuminga is absolutely cooking. The former Warrior is showing out against the Wizards, and might challenge Maxey for the top spot.
The game is a complete blowout, but he keeps playing as they put the hurt on the Wizards. So we’ll see if he can swoop in at the end.
Hats Off, Tyrese
What a performance from Tyrese Maxey. With the fourth quarter winding down against the Pacers, Maxey is up to 49 P/R/A, and comfortably leading the field.
With the result seemingly in hand, it’s doubtful that Maxey goes back in this game. Let’s see if he cooked enough to stay in front of the field. Guys like Cason Wallace and RJ Barrett are on pace to give him a good run.
Big Contender Goes Down
One of our players projected for the most P/R/A tonight – Jalen Johnson – is out for the rest of the night. Tough luck if you bet on him to be King of the Court. Luckily, his exit is covered under Early Exit, but no crown is coming to Johnson tonight.
We’re really heating up now. Keep an eye on that leaderboard.
Cason Wallace Chaos
Cason Wallace had quite the second quarter, lofting himself into King of the Court contention. He tallied 14 points, five rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes.
Maxey still has the lead, with Embiid behind him, but Wallace has earned the third spot so far.
Maxey Mania
Tyrese Maxey is on a heater, folks. Facing the tanking Pacers, Philly’s superstar is absolutely going off. He has 19 points, six rebounds and six assists before halftime.
Maxey’s 31 P/R/A mark leads the board, with Joel Embiid trailing him at 28. Keep an eye on RJ Barrett, Josh Hart, and Jonathan Kuminga; all three players have 13 P/R/A in the first quarter.
The Greatest Upset Of Them All?
We’re early in our first game on the board, and an unlikely candidate has raced out in front. Indiana Pacers tank commander Kam Jones is popping off with 10 P/R/A in the first five minutes.
Five people picked Jones as the King of the Court winner, which would net them $400,000 apiece. Maybe he has the juice for a wild upset; who knows?
