PSG vs. Monaco Prediction, Pick
This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. Even though the first leg was close, I don’t see a way for Monaco to find a way back into this against the holders on their turf. PSG raise their level in the knockout stages of the Champions League, and we saw it firsthand last week after an early 2-0 deficit.
It’s just a matter of how PSG advance in my opinion, and I think they will do so by winning the game and both teams getting on the scoresheet. These two sides play often given that they are from the same country, so we have a lot of recent matchups to examine. Paris have won four of the last five meetings between the teams, only keeping a clean sheet on one occasion.
Despite not playing at their best in both their domestic league and the Champions League so far this season, we’ve seen this movie before. PSG did not advance automatically in the League Phase last season as well, and went on to win the competition.
I expect a big performance from PSG in front of their home fans, given that this game has some jeopardy with only a slim 3-2 advantage.
