James Harden has had a strong start to his Cavaliers tenure. He has spent six games with the Cavaliers. Over that stretch, he is averaging 18.7 points and 8.7 assists per game. Donovan Mitchell is the primary scorer in Cleveland, but Harden has led the team in assists in five of his six games with the Cavaliers. In all six games, he has at least seven assists. Despite it coming in a losing effort, Harden just had a great 20-point, nine-assist performance against the Thunder last time out. The Knicks will need to focus a lot of defensive attention on Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley in the paint. That could lead to Jalen Brunson having to guard Harden for stretches of this game. If that’s the case, Harden should be able to score and create for his teammates. Harden should replicate his strong performance against the Thunder and go over this number again.
Karl-Anthony Towns 11+ Rebounds (-130)
Karl-Anthony Towns has been one of the best rebounders in the NBA since becoming a Knick. Last season, he finished the season ranked second in the NBA in rebounding. This season, Towns once again ranks second in the NBA in rebounding, averaging 11.8 boards per game. He should be able to grab at least 11 rebounds in this game against Cleveland. He has recorded 11 or more rebounds in 10 of his past 12 games. In two games against the Cavaliers this season, Towns has cleared this number both times, including grabbing 14 boards in the most recent matchup. The Cavaliers rank 24th in the NBA in defensive rebounding percentage, while the Knicks rank fifth in the NBA in offensive rebounds per game. Karl-Anthony Towns should be able to rebound at both ends of the floor and hit this number for the third time this season against Cleveland.
