After just three games yesterday, we’re back in action with 11 tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST as the Sixers visit the Pacers. The Lakers will host the Magic at 10:30 PM EST to conclude our slate.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Tyrese Maxey More Than 30.5 Points
Maxey’s averaging a massive 39.1 MPG on the season so it’s never out of the question that he could just “volume” his way to high scoring totals. He’s averaging 29 PPG and has taken a leap in his scoring. Paul George will continue to serve his suspension and Joel Embiid is iffy for tonight, so things could run through Maxey yet again as they visit a frail Indiana team.
The Pacers play at the ninth fastest pace in the league and have allowed 119 PPG, the sixth most in the league.
Matas Buzelis Less Than 5.5 Rebounds
Buzelis is averaging right under this number at 5.4 RPG but has been doing better than this lately with 6.1 RPG over his last 10 games. But tonight’s opponent is stingy on the glass. Charlotte’s pace is slow, which means fewer possessions, fewer shots, fewer misses, fewer boards. They’re also allowing the lowest ORPG in the league with just 47.7. Moussa Diabate will return tonight after serving his suspension to bolster the Hornets’ rebounding as well.
If Jalen Smith, who’s currently listed as Questionable, can suit up, then that also means even fewer opportunities for Buzelis to get rebounds.
Anthony Edwards More Than 29.5 Points
Both of these teams play fast. Portland is fifth in pace and Minnesota is eighth, meaning there will be a ton of possessions tonight and we can expect Edwards to do his thing on the offensive end. Edwards is averaging 29.5 PPG this season, which is a career-high, and he’s continued to improve upon his PPG every season. The 24 year old All-Star is poised to conclude another strong season off unusually efficient shooting from the field, with his splits of .495/.400/.791 all being career-highs except for the free throw rate.
Portland will be missing Deni Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe.

Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
