Jeff’s King of the Court Pick for Tuesday, February 24: Luka Doncic

IMPORTANT: Jaylen Brown was my first King of the Court pick. With Brown ruled out, I am pivoting to Doncic.

22 teams are in action across the association Tuesday night, and yet, one PRA machine stands out among the pack. Luka Doncic hasn’t been playing his most consistent basketball as of late, but when push comes to shove, his ceiling is arguably the highest in the entire NBA (Victor Wembanyama fans may like a word).

Doncic is averaging a ridiculous 32.8 points, 8.5 assists and 7.7 rebounds per contest. While he was just relatively shut down by the Celtics, L.A.’s superstar will draw a much easier matchup tonight against the Magic. Luka is just one game removed from a ridiculous performance against the Clippers, in which he dropped 38 points, 11 assists and six rebounds. Even with his recent shooting struggles, if Doncic plays up to 75% of his abilities, he’ll be the King of the Court frontrunner.
