Who could be an early exit on Survivor 50?
Savannah Louie (Survivor 49 winner)
Savannah Louie has several things working against her in this game. She won Survivor 49, but the contestants on this season will not have seen that season. Former winners often get targeted when they return to the beach. So, Louie will be immediately thought of as a threat because of that. However, since people didn’t see her season, the threat becomes more mysterious. They don’t know how she ended up winning, so her tribemates might just cut her out right away, rather than learn the hard way.
Quintavius “Q” Burdette (Survivor 46)
Q Burdette is likely making a quick exit in this game. In his season, he was an absolute menace, constantly jumping from alliance to alliance and making enemies along the way. He is completely untrustworthy and on a tribe that could struggle early on. Colby Donaldson will likely be the de facto leader because of his experience and icon status in this world. Donaldson will not put up with any shenanigans from Burdette, so if people want to work well with Donaldson, they will vote Burdette out right away.
Mike White (Survivor: David vs. Goliath)
I am a huge fan of Mike White’s work, from playing Ned Schneebly in School of Rock to The White Lotus. However, he is not a great Survivor player. He is entertaining to watch and comes off likeable as a viewer; however, he doesn’t do anything in the game particularly well. His best chance of lasting long is latching on to someone like Coach and trying to ride their coattails to the merge. However, it’s more likely that the group won’t see him as much of a help in challenges and will cut the “Hollywood millionaire” before a “real Survivor player.”
Sleeper: Jenna Lewis-Dougherty (Survivor: Borneo, Survivor: All-Stars)
Jenna Lewis-Dougherty is one of the most fascinating players to watch this season. She is the only player in this game from the first season of Survivor, and she was on the first-ever season of All-Stars. She might not be viewed as much of a threat and get by in that way. However, it seems more likely that she will be an early exit from this season. Lewis-Dougherty doesn’t have the reverence of other past players, and she has a history of rubbing people the wrong way. Unless she is used as a shield by the men of her tribe, she is likely to be an early exit.
Who could win Survivor 50?
Benjamin “Coach” Wade (Survivor: Tocantins, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Survivor: South Pacific)
Coach Wade is one of the most beloved players on this season’s cast. Most of the younger players would love to work with Wade, and the older players also have great respect for him. He is a strong enough challenge player to keep his tribe moving forward and to win a couple of individual immunities. However, he also showed that he can be a great strategic player in South Pacific. As a player who came up just short, he might be “due” to finally get a win.
Tiffany Ervin (Survivor: 46)
Tiffany Ervin is arguably the strongest player of the New Era participating in this season. In All-Star seasons, it is often the under-the-radar players, not the big stars, that end up winning. In Season 46, Ervin was a victim of being on a disastrous tribe that was cut out after the merge. This time around, she is in a great situation with her tribe. She has a pre-existing relationship with Charlie Davis and should be able to latch on to Jonathan Young, who is one of the best challenge players in this game.
Christian Hubicki (Survivor: David vs. Goliath)
Christian Hubicki could be a massive threat in this game. He is an affable person and won’t be seen as a physical threat when it comes to individual immunity challenges. The most likely scenario for the Cila tribe is that Joe Hunter and Ozzy Lusth team up to lead this tribe. They will be strong in challenges and could have a strong group heading into the merge. Then, post-merge, other players are more likely to target Hunter and Lusth as greater physical threats. Hubicki could make it to the final tribal council without making enemies and have plenty of support on the jury.
Sleeper: Cirie Fields (Survivor: Panama, Survivor: Micronesia, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Survivor: Game Changers)
Cirie Fields could be one of the first players out, but she also has a chance to go all the way. Fields has always been a fan-favorite player and is one of the veteran players in this game. Younger players will have a reverence for Fields and are unlikely to vote her out early. After the merge, players likely won’t see her as a real challenge threat, but she was a notably better challenge player in her most recent season, so she could nab a key immunity at some point. If she makes it to the jury, she could use her charisma to secure a victory.
