The Spurs (40–16, 2nd West) are riding an eight-game winning streak, punctuated by Saturday’s 17-point win over the Kings. The Pistons (42–13, 1st East) have rattled off five-straight wins of their own, riding the hot hand of superstar point guard Cade Cunningham.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. Detroit enters as a 1.5-point home favorite, while San Antonio sits as a +105 underdog. The game’s total is set at 231.5 points.

The Pistons sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 42–13 record, just two seasons removed from a dreadful 14–68 campaign in 2023–24. Leading the charge is Detroit’s former first overall pick, Cunningham, who’s averaging 25.5 points and 9.8 assists per game — second-most in the NBA.
The 24-year-old guard has recorded double-digit assists in 27 games this season, matching Nikola Jokic for the league lead. Cunningham has seemingly turned it up a notch following the All-Star break, dishing out 13 dimes in back-to-back games against the Knicks and Bulls, respectively.
He’ll attempt to return to the well against the formidable Spurs, who have won nine of their last 10 games while owning the NBA’s fifth-best defensive rating during that span. But despite San Antonio’s stout coverage, it has had trouble clogging the passing lanes — ranking 20th in opponent assists over its last 10.
