Ryan Garcia had the fight won within the first 30 seconds.

The 27-year-old from Victorville, California dropped Mario Barrios with an unexpected right hand and never looked back — cruising to a unanimous decision (119–108, 120–107, 118–109) to win the WBC world welterweight title, his first world championship.

Garcia entered as a -250 moneyline favorite and sat at +240 to win by decision on DraftKings Sportsbook. Midway through the fight, a Garcia win was priced at -3000.

Garcia (25–2, 20 KOs) set the tone early in each round, deviating from his signature left hook which continually stumped the champion Barrios (29–3–2).

He couldn’t help look out to the crowd and smirk as he pitched a near shutout with little resistance.

It was a historic comeback for Garcia, who served a 12-month suspension before returning in lackluster fashion in a unanimous decision loss to Rolly Romero last year.

Seemingly down to his last shot, Garcia turned in a career-best performance.
