What happened to Deni Avdija? Live injury updates for Trail Blazers vs. Suns on Sunday 2/22/26

UPDATE: Avdija will not return.

With 11:01 left in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Deni Avdija was replaced by Scoot Henderson. Avdija has been dealing with a back issue and was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s tipoff, but was eventually cleared and got the start. Avdija is now in the locker room.

If Avdija is unable to return, Sidy Cissoko would likely be the biggest beneficiary.
