What happened to Dillon Brooks? Live injury updates for Suns vs. Magic on Saturday 2/21/26

UPDATE: Brooks suffered a broken left hand and is sidelined without a timetable.

UPDATE: Brooks won’t return.

Dillon Brooks suffered a hand injury during the first quarter of Saturday’s game between the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic. The forward left the game and went to the locker room.

The severity of the injury is uncertain, but Brooks was grabbing at his hand a few times before leaving the contest.

The forward has been a major contributor for the Suns this season, so any length of absence would hurt the team. The lineup has dealt with injuries to Devin Booker and Jalen Green all year, so this would add onto the woes.

Brooks recorded five points and three rebounds in seven minutes before exiting.
