Stars collide in Space City on Saturday night.
Top-five middleweights Sean Strickland and Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez will square off in the main event of UFC Houston at the Toyota Center. The main card airs live on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET.
Strickland, a former middleweight champion — and one of the most polarizing fighters on the active roster — returns to the Octagon after getting thumped by Dricus Du Plessis in their title rematch last February. He’ll attempt to get back on track against the surging Hernandez, who has rattled off eight straight wins capped by a second-round submission of Roman Dolidze in August. “Fluffy” enters as a -278 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Strickland sits as a +250 underdog.
The co-main event of the evening will feature a welterweight showdown between Geoff Neal and Uros Medic. Neal, a Texas native who has dropped three of his last four bouts, is listed as a -218 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook to bounce back against the Serbian, boasting a 100% finish rate.
Also on the main card: fan favorite Dan Ige takes on Melquizael Costa in a featherweight bout; top-ten heavyweights Serghei Spivac and Ante Delija each look to rebound from losses to Waldo Cortes-Acosta; Jacobe Smith and Josiah Harrell put their O’s on the line in a battle between unbeaten welterweights; and Zach Reese faces veteran Michel Pereira in a middleweight duel.
Here’s a look at the full fight card for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Houston, Texas.
