Top DraftKings Picks for the 2026 Autotrader 400
1. Chase Elliott ($9,900) — Atlanta is different. It’s a superspeedway due to the steep banking, but the packs aren’t afforded the space that Daytona and Talladega give. This race can be controlled. The Georgian has controlled his home track twice (2022 and 2025 Atlanta wins).
2. Ryan Blaney ($10,200) — There’s a reason Blaney has the highest price tag this week on DraftKings. He’s the best superspeedway driver in the Cup Series. He’s never won at Atlanta, but his average finish of 10.9 at New-lanta only trails Chase Elliott.
3. Denny Hamlin ($9,100) — It’s not just Atlanta that is different. Superspeedways are different. The Gen-7 stock car has too much downforce and too much drag at the superspeedways. It’s easy to drive and impossible to make a run without help. That leads to lap leading and significant lap-led points for the elite superspeedway drivers.
4. Ross Chastain ($8,100) — In the eight superspeedway races at New-lanta, Chastain has six top-15 finishes. That includes a pair of runner-up finishes in 2022. Atlanta requires an extra level of aggression and a total lack of fear. That’s a Chastain race.
5. William Byron ($9,700) — Last week’s storyline continues. Byron is one of the best superspeedway drivers. He won the inaugural race at the Atlanta superspeedway in 2022 and repeated his victory in 2023.
6. Joey Logano ($10,000) — Technically, Logano is a Yankee. He’s from Connecticut, but he moved to Georgia as a child to chase his racing dream. Atlanta isn’t Logano’s home track — it was his home. He lived in a condo at the track. He’s comfortable at Atlanta and superspeedway racing. Logano has two wins at New-Lanta.
7. Kyle Busch ($8,800) — Rowdy wasn’t happy to see the old Atlanta go away, but he’s been great at the new track. He has two Truck Series wins and five top-10 Cup Series finishes at the Atlanta superspeedway.
8. Tyler Reddick ($9,000) — There isn’t a rule that says a driver can’t win back-to-back superspeedway races. There are statistics against it. The odds are unlikely given the volatile nature of pack racing. It’s more likely that Reddick wrecks. He can wreck, but he has proven that he can win.
9. Christopher Bell ($9,200) — The beginning of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series belonged to Bell. He won three consecutive races. One of those races was the first Atlanta race. Bell earned top-5 finishes at Atlanta in 2024 and 2023.
10. Daniel Suarez ($7,200) — Was it Trackhouse or Suarez? We’ll find out on Sunday. Suarez won at Atlanta in 2024 and has achieved five finishes of sixth or better at the track. Can he continue his run with Spire Motorsports?
11. Connor Zilisch ($6,700) — Con-Zilla might be the best rookie NASCAR Cup Series driver in decades. No other driver has entered the highest level of stock car racing with a CV like CZ’s. He’s dominated every style. Why not a superspeedway? Trackhouse has a great Atlanta program.
12. Carson Hocevar ($7,900) — The kid doesn’t get enough respect. He doesn’t get any. Like his mentor, Ross Chastain, Hocevar is too aggressive. The garage and many fans dislike him. Spire Motorsports doesn’t get much respect either. Hocevar nearly made a statement last week at Daytona. The kid is gunning for a win and doesn’t mind wiping out.
13. Ricky Stenhouse Jr ($7,500) — The legend grows. Wrecky Spinhouse did his thing at Daytona. He’s a superspeedway phenomenon. He wrecks or nearly wins. He nearly won the Daytona 500 for the second time last week. Stenhouse hasn’t wrecked at Atlanta since 2022. He’s earned six consecutive top-20 finishes and four top-10 finishes over that span.
14. AJ Allmendinger ($5,600) — The Dinger has never been a winner at a superspeedway in the Cup Series. He has Xfinity Series plate track wins, but none with the big boys. Still, Allmendinger has been a quality superspeedway driver. In his four Atlanta races, he’s averaging 44.9 fantasy points per race (fourth most).
15. Shane Van Gisbergen ($5,700) — Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez have been elite at New-Lanta. Trackhouse Racing has clearly figured out how to get the most speed out of the Gen-7 stock car at this unique superspeedway. SVG gets to ride that wave.
