The Los Angeles Lakers are just a game out of third place in the Western Conference ahead of tonight’s battle for L.A. against the Clippers. While the injury report is largely clear, one superstar has now popped up with an ailment.
LeBron James has been added to the official injury report with a questionable designation. The issue appears to be left knee soreness for the 41-year-old.
James appeared in the 22nd All-Star Game of his career over the weekend, though his minutes were quite limited when he on the floor.
Over the course of his 36 games this season, James averages 22.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. He’s shooting 50.2% from the field but only 30.5% from three, the latter of which is his lowest mark from distance since the 2015-16 campaign. Still, his impact has been notable with Los Angeles 22-14 in games the superstar has appeared in this season.
The Lakers are 33-21 overall on the campaign, sitting fifth in the Western Conference.
James’ Lakers are listed as a 6.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook tonight against the Clippers.
