It’s just the rookie’s sixth absence of 2025-26, so there’s no current danger of Flagg’s standing in the league’s award race. Max Christie and Naji Marshall led Dallas with 19 points apiece back on February 12 with Flagg in street clothes, while Brandon Williams led all starters with a 27.1% usage rate. However, Christie is listed as doubtful on Friday.

Heck, even when Markkanen’s been available in recent weeks, he hasn’t exceeded 27 minutes of action, despite the fact he’s averaging 30.2 points per 36 in February with a 59.4% true shooting rate. Keyonte George (ankle) and Jusuf Nurkic (nose) have already been ruled out on Friday.
