We’re officially back after the NBA All-Star weekend with a healthy 10 game slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST between the Nets and the Cavs and concluding with the Nuggets visiting the Clippers at 10:30 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Tyrese Maxey More Than 30.5 Points
With Joel Embiid out and Paul George still suspended, Philly’s offense doesn’t have many options tonight. The onus will be on Maxey creating and finishing possessions for long stretches to keep Philadelphia’s offense afloat.
Atlanta’s defensive ecosystem also tends to invite the kind of math Maxey likes. The Hawks are giving up 37.08 opponent 3PA per game, and opponents are hitting 37.1% from deep against them. If Maxey’s already at 21.5 FGA and 8.8 3PA on the season, he’ll likely get enough shots up to eclipse his 30.5 line tonight.
Donovan Mitchell More Than 26.5 Points
The line is sitting below Mitchell’s season baseline of 29.0 PPG, and Brooklyn is missing its best interior safety net with Nic Claxton out. To an already poor defense like Brooklyn, that’s a big blow. Donovan Mitchell is an adept three level scorer and should have an even easier time getting to the rim tonight.
Brooklyn’s defensive profile has also been extremely leaky all season, posting the league’s fifth worst 118.7 DEFRTG. If Cleveland keeps getting normal Mitchell production, 26.5 is a very manageable bar.
Jamal Murray More Than 23.5 Points
Murray’s at 25.7 PPG this season but tonight’s not an easy defensive matchup for the first-time All Star. Ever since the Clippers traded away James Harden and Ivica Zubac at the trade deadline, they’ve posted a 108.8 DEFRTG, which would be a league third-best mark.
The recent box scores,however, say he’s in range: 23 vs. Memphis, 17 vs. Cleveland, 28 @ Chicago. Despite the recent dips and peaks in his scoring, he’s still going to be well rested since this will be the first game since the All-Star break and Denver is still gunning for a top spot in the West. Denver is also still without two starters in Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson, which nudges the offensive burden toward the two-man core between Murray and Nikola Jokic that consistently creates advantages. If Murray’s minutes land in their normal neighborhood, 24 points is a very realistic outcome.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
