Unrivaled: Breeze vs. Lunar Owls prediction, pick for Tuesday 2/17/26

On the heels of a thrilling one-on-one tournament โ€” where Chelsea Gray took the crown โ€” Unrivaledโ€™s sophomore season is heading toward the playoffs, with only a handful of regular-season games left for the eight squads in Miami. As a reminder, the postseason tips off February 28, with the semifinals set for Monday, March 2, and the Finals closing out the season on Wednesday, March 4.

The Breeze enter Tuesdayโ€™s matchup as 4.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total sitting at 141.5. Letโ€™s get into my prediction and pick for this star-powered showdown.

Breeze vs. Lunar Owls Prediction

Without Unrivaled co-founder Napheesa Collier on the floor, itโ€™s been a tough season for the Lunar Owls. Sitting last in the league at 2โ€“8, they rank second-to-last in scoring at 66.8 points per game. The one area theyโ€™ve held their own is on the glass, sitting third in rebounds per game at 33.7.

Even with just two wins, this team has serious scoring firepower at the top. Marina Mabrey and Aaliyah Edwards are absolute buckets, averaging 26.8 and 22.3 points per game, respectively. Mabrey leads the league in scoring, giving the Owls one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in Unrivaled.

But after that, the drop-off is noticeable. Skylar Diggins has been steady at 15.4 points and 3.6 assists per game, yet beyond the top three, production thins out quickly. Temi Fรกgbรฉnlรฉ, Rebecca Allen, and Rachel Banham are all averaging fewer than six points per game. Add in 11.2 turnovers per game (8th) and it becomes clear why this group struggles to close games. Thereโ€™s top-end talent here, but the lack of depth makes it hard to sustain success.

The Breeze are telling a different story. Sitting fourth in the league at .500, this Paige Bueckers and Rickea Jacksonโ€“led squad needs to build momentum heading into the final stretch after dropping three of its last four games before the one-on-one tournament.

Bueckers has been exactly what the public expected โ€” fearless and assertive in her first Unrivaled season. The UConn product is averaging 25.0 points per game (third in the league) while leading the league in assists at 6.7 per game. Pair her playmaking with the steady scoring of Jackson and Dominique Malonga, and the Breeze have the offensive foundation to make noise down the stretch.

And you didnโ€™t think I forgot about Cameron Brink, did you? The 24-year-old has made her presence felt defensively, using her length to average 1.6 blocks per game (second in the league) while also chipping in 10+ points per contest.

Breeze vs. Lunar Owls Pick

Looking at the betting splits on DraftKings Sportsbook, 89% of the bets are on Breeze moneyline while just 11% are siding with the Lunar Owls. With the Breeze’s playmakers and Lunar Owls’ lack of depth, my pick leans with the public.

Best Bet: Breeze -4.5 (-115)
