Disneyland is celebrating its 70th anniversary and Topps is celebrating with a brand-new premium trading card set honoring the park’s most iconic attractions, characters, and history. The 2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary set drops on March 13.

What is the 2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary trading card set?

Topps says the Disneyland 70th Anniversary trading card set will transport the magic, history and imagination of the Happiest Place On Earth into a premium trading card experience designed for collectors and Disney fans alike.

The 2025 Topps Disneyland Anniversary set is described as:

… a trading card product celebrating Disneyland’s rich history of attractions, characters, cast members, and more! Chase autographs, sketches, relics, and even a grand prize trip to Disneyland in this truly magical collecting experience.

What cards will be available in the 2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary set?

Topps notes that the set will feature “rare chases, original artwork, autographs, relics, and memorable surprises.”

Among the card types available for fans to chase will be:

  • Attraction Autographs — “Chase authentic autographs from talent who voice iconic Disneyland characters or narrate memorable aspects of the park. Look for autographs of Tim Allen, Margaret Kerry, and more!”
  • A Pirate’s Life Chrome — “Plunge into the world of Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean, featuring fan-favorite characters and those immortalized in the ride’s iconic entrance murals. With a vibrant Chrome finish, each card delivers bold color and high-impact presentation worthy of this legendary attraction.”
  • From Silver Screen to Main Street — “This magical set features parades from over the years that turned Disney stories into live experiences on Main Street, U.S.A.”
  • Base Cards – Then/Now — “The park’s most iconic locations and attractions are brought to life by showcasing how they’ve evolved through the decades.”
  • Base Cards – Concept Art — “Pull back the curtain to reveal early concept art of some of the park’s most beloved elements.”
  • Base Cards – Timeline — “Celebrate unforgettable moments and events that shaped Disneyland’s history.”
  • Base Cards – Snack Time — “A playful and mouthwatering twist to the set, spotlighting the park’s most beloved snacks that have become just as legendary as the attractions themselves.”
  • Foil Parallels — “Foil parallels are numbered from /199 down to 1/1.”
  • Posters — “Showcasing a selection of classic attraction posters from throughout the park’s history, modern collectors can experience how these iconic Disney experiences were first presented to guests.”

Topps has also released the odds for pulling each variety of card.

As a lifelong Disney Parks fan, I love this mix of card types. I think the ones that stand out most to me are the Attraction Autographs, Concept Art and Posters cards. The Posters cards are especially enticing, as most people who pass underneath the Disneyland Railroad are taken by all the attraction posters they pass as they make their way onto Main Street, U.S.A. I think the mix here will appeal to the nostalgia of Disneyland fans and pays the proper amount of tribute to the history of the Happiest Place On Earth.

What is Disneyland?

Opened on July 17, 1955, Disneyland was inspired by Walt Disney wanting to build a place where parents and children could have a fun time together. This is best described in Disney’s opening dedication to the park:

To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.

Disneyland opened with five lands  (Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland) and has opened four additional lands in the years since (New Orleans Square, Bayou Country, Mickey’s Toontown and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge). The park is home to iconic attractions, including Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, the Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight, It’s A Small World, the Matterhorn and more.

Built in just one year, the cost of building Disneyland required Disney to sell or mortgage most of his personal fortune as well as star in the now famous Disneyland anthology series on ABC. Opening Day on July 17, 1955, was marred by still drying cement and oversized crowds, with thousands more attempting to enter the park than had been invited. However, Disneyland would prove to be a success greater than anyone could have ever imagined, birthing sibling resorts such as Walt Disney World in Orlando, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and more. Disneyland became a dream destination for many families and is a true American icon.
