Many people still consider Saturday night to be the best night of All-Star weekend, but it’s no longer due to the Slam Dunk Contest. Instead, the 3-Point Contest is the headlining event.
Eight players will compete for the 2026 title with two previous winners taking part in the event. There will also be four players making their 3-Point Contest debut.
Below is a list of all the competitors and the opening odds for each on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Opening Odds for the 2026 NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kon Knueppel, Damian Lillard, Jamal Murray, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, Norman Powell and Bobby Portis are the eight competitors.
Kon Knueppel (+300)
Knueppel is having an excellent rookie season and will be in contention for Rookie of the Year. The No. 4 overall pick has been a knockdown perimeter shooter for Charlotte, making 183 threes this season (second most in the NBA).
The rookie is the favorite at +300 after shooting 43.1% from deep in the first half of the season. He could become the first rookie to win the 3-Point Contest in history.
Damian Lillard (+475)
This is easily the most shocking development of All-Star weekend. Lillard is still recovering from a torn Achilles that he suffered during the 2025 playoffs. Despite not playing a game this season, the two-time 3-Point Contest champion is competing.
He won the event in 2023 with the Trail Blazers and 2024 with the Bucks. He’ll compete with Portland this year after failing to complete the 3-peat last year.
Jamal Murray (+550)
This is a big weekend for Murray, who is not only making his first All-Star game appearance but his first 3-Point Contest appearance, too. Murray is +550 after knocking down 158 threes this season at a 42.5% rate.
Tyrese Maxey (+650)
Maxey is also participating in the 3-Point Contest for the first time. He’s having yet another terrific season with the 76ers, posting the fourth most made threes in the NBA thus far (174).
Donovan Mitchell (+650)
Mitchell is tied with Maxey at +650 odds, but Cleveland’s All-Star has 3-Point Contest experience. He competed in the 2024 and 2021 event, losing both times.
Devin Booker (+750)
Booker is the only other member of this year’s group to win the event. He’s aiming for title No. 2 after securing the 2018 crown. Booker is shooting just 31.1% from deep this season, but he’s a veteran in this competition.
Norman Powell (+800)
After just missing out on the All-Star Game last year, Powell got his redemption in 2026. He also makes a return to the 3-Point Contest after losing last year’s competition. Powell is shooting 39.6% from deep, while making 130 total threes.
Bobby Portis (+1100)
Lastly, Portis is our underdog. At +1100, he’s the only participant with odds longer than +800. His volume doesn’t match some of the other players, but his efficiency is elite. Portis is shooting 45% from distance, which ranks sixth in the NBA.
