Today, a new betting market was added for UFC fights moving forward on DraftKings Sportsbook. The UFC is off this week with its next event being on February 21 in Houston, Texas.
Check out my breakdown with information regarding the new UFC betting market below,
Point Spread UFC Betting
If you go to the round props heading under a fight, you will find round point spread betting options for all scheduled rounds. For example, you can see how it appears below on DraftKings Sportsbook for the UFC’s next Fight Night Main Event between Sean Strickland and Anthony Hernandez.
If the round you bet on does not start, your bet will be voided. If the fighter you bet on wins by knockout, submission, or disqualification in that round, your bet wins.

Step-by-step breakdown
Here is an example of how this bet works.
Scenario 1: Fighter wins the round on two judges’ scorecards
- Fighter A: 10-9
- Fighter A: 10-9
- Fighter B: 10-9
- Fighter A wins the round 29-28.
- Then apply the spread of 1.5.
- (Fighter A): 27.5 (Fighter B): 28
- If you bet on Fighter A -1.5, the bet would lose as Fighter B +1.5 would be a winner.
Scenario 2: Fighter wins the round on all three judges’ scorecards
- Fighter A: 10-9
- Fighter A: 10-9
- Fighter A: 10-9
- Fighter A wins the round 30-27.
- Then apply the spread of 1.5.
- (Fighter A): 28.5 (Fighter B): 27
- If you bet on Fighter A -1.5, the bet would win.
