Babes of Wrath (c) vs. Megabad – AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship
We could see new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions at Grand Slam. Megabad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) earned this opportunity by defeating the Babes of Wrath in a Tag Team Eliminator match on the February 4 episode of Dynamite, giving them clear momentum heading into February 14.
Bayne has quickly become a rising force in the women’s division, and AEW feels ready to elevate her with championship gold. After already holding a win over the champions, Megabad entering as challengers with credibility makes this feel like the right moment for a title change.

Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy vs. Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir) – Mixed Tornado Tag (Loser of the fall has their head shaved)
First and foremost, the dynamic between Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy has been fantastic. From their promo work to dancing during matches, this “odd couple” has knocked it out of the park heading into AEW Grand Slam.
Now, when it comes to this Mixed Tornado Tag match, there is one glaring person who feels destined for a haircut — Wheeler Yuta. His hair is down past his eyes at this point. A shaved-head Yuta coming out of AEW Grand Slam would immediately change his presentation and probably generate a strong reaction from the crowd.
I wouldn’t put it past Storm going bald either — it would be a wild character turn — but this feels like the right moment for Yuta to take the fall and pay the price.

Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe – TNT Championship – Ladder Match
One of the most shocking moments on Dynamite saw Kyle Fletcher regain the TNT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa. If you missed it, you missed an early 2026 Match of the Year candidate. It’s absolutely worth going back to watch.
Now, at AEW Grand Slam, Fletcher vs. Briscoe goes to a true “Game 7.” This will be the seventh match between the two rivals, dating back to Ring of Honor in June 2024 when ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe defeated Fletcher. Their most recent meeting saw Briscoe win the TNT Title in a No DQ match on November 11, 2025. The series is tied 3-3 entering this TNT Championship Ladder Match.
With Grand Slam taking place in Australia, Fletcher’s home country, this feels like the moment he closes the series and moves into a new rivalry heading toward AEW Revolution.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Andrade El Idolo – Winner receives AEW World Championship Match at AEW Revolution
Andrade El Idolo feels poised to earn an AEW World Championship match at AEW Revolution. He’s essentially been running through the “Avengers” of AEW on his path to a title shot, defeating Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega in back-to-back singles matches. Now, at AEW Grand Slam, he faces his final obstacle: “Hangman” Adam Page.
The key to Andrade’s recent run is that the losses taken by Swerve and Omega don’t hurt them, but they significantly elevate Andrade. The same logic applies here. Even if Page isn’t factored into the AEW World Title match at Revolution, he’s still Trios Champion alongside JetSpeed, and those titles are likely defended on the pay-per-view. Unless Page is pulling double duty, his Revolution direction feels clear.
All signs point to the momentum staying with Andrade, earning him the AEW World Championship opportunity at Revolution.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita – AEW Continental Championship
This might be the toughest match to predict at AEW Grand Slam. On the surface, it feels like a perfect opportunity for Konosuke Takeshita to win the AEW Continental Championship and set up a title vs. title match with Kazuchika Okada at AEW Revolution. The tension between Takeshita and Okada has been building for months.
That said, a match with Okada doesn’t need the Continental Championship to feel important. It stands on its own. That’s why Jon Moxley retaining makes more sense. Whether it’s subtle involvement from Okada or simply the ongoing Don Callis Family vs. Death Riders dynamic, Moxley holding the title keeps him firmly positioned heading into Revolution. A loss here would leave one of AEW’s biggest stars without clear direction going into one of the company’s biggest pay-per-views of the year.

MJF (c) vs. Brody King – AEW World Championship
AEW Dynamite has been on a roll lately, and Brody King squashing MJF last week was one of its most shocking moments. That dominant win earned King an AEW World Championship match at AEW Grand Slam, immediately throwing him into the title picture.
As fun as it’s been to see King in the AEW World Title scene, this feels like where it ends. MJF walking into AEW Revolution as champion — likely against Andrade — is the money match. It would be a massive surprise if that isn’t the direction for Revolution’s main event.
The intriguing part is how MJF survives. Based on their previous encounter, there’s no obvious path for him to beat King clean. That unpredictability makes this AEW Grand Slam main event compelling, even if the outcome feels clear.
