BREAK IT DOWN:
(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Scoot Henderson 6+ Assists (+155): Now this is a name that I’ve not seen in a long time. Remember Scoot Henderson? Former third-overall pick and the heir apparent to Damian Lillard in Portland? After missing the first three months of the season due to a torn hamstring, Henderson made his return to action last Friday, logging 21.3 minutes off the bench in a win over Memphis. Then, following a rest day on a back-to-back, Henderson played 19.7 minutes in a victory over the the 76ers on Monday. While you’d expect some rust, Henderson’s actually looked quite good, and he’s hit the over on this specific prop in both of his appearances. In fact, Henderson’s averaging 14.0 assists per 36 and he’s sporting a 55.4% assist rate. We’re obviously dealing with a microscopic sample, yet, for some context, both of those marks would lead the NBA. I can see why the public is finding this prop appealing at plus-money, even with a minutes restriction clearly in place.
Nikola Jokic Triple-Double, Yes (-132): You know who actually leads the NBA in assist rate? That would be Nikola Jokic at 53.0%. It’s one of the reasons Jokic is averaging a triple-double for the season as a whole. The big man really hasn’t missed a beat since his own return from injury, having now registered a triple-double in each of his past three starts, including a 22-point, 14-rebound, 11-assist effort against the Cavaliers on Monday. Tonight, the former MVP will try and notch his 20th triple-double of 2025-26 in a matchup with the Grizzlies, which shouldn’t be too difficult considering Memphis owns the league’s second-worst defensive rating over its last 10 contests (121.2). On the DraftKings Sportsbook, this tilt has the second-highest implied total of the slate. If the script plays out like the book expects it to, Jokic should thrive in a high-scoring environment.
Paolo Banchero 6+ Assists (+166): I found myself optimistic about the first two bets in this article, but I’m having a harder time wrapping my head around this one. It’s not like Banchero is allergic to passing or anything, but he has failed to hit the over on this prop in eight of his last 10 starts. His 22.0% assist rate in 2025-26 is also the lowest its been since his rookie campaign. That’s not to say this is impossible, or that the +166 odds aren’t tempting in a matchup with a Bucks team that just allowed the Magic to put up 118 points in a win on Monday. Banchero actually led Orlando in potential assists that night (8.6), and he could be more inclined to dish the rock now that Franz Wagner is back in the picture. Still, I’m shocked this is as popular a play as it is.
3-Pick Parlay
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
Scoot Henderson 6+ Assists (+155)
Nikola Jokic Triple-Double, Yes (-132)
