After a small four game slate last night, we have a whopping 14 games on the slate tonight before All-Star weekend. Let’s choose wisely when we have this many options to pick from.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Jamal Murray More Than 24.5 Points
Murray’s going to appear in his first All-Star game this weekend and he’s certainly earned it. He’s averaging 25.8 PPG this season and played a big role in keeping the Nuggets afloat while Jokic was out for over a month.
Tonight he’ll get a soft matchup against the Grizzlies, who just shipped away their best defender and rim protector. The Grizzlies are also posting an absolutely abysmal 123.6 DEFRTG against opposing point guards in their last ten games, which bodes well for Murray’s chances of having a huge night at home. The Nuggets have slipped to the fourth seed and will be looking to reclaim their territory against the rapidly sliding Grizzlies, who have gone 2-8 in their last 10 games.
Alperen Sengun More Than 19.5 Points
Sengun just finished last night with 22 points on 9/14 shooting in this very same matchup. Tonight’s the second half of a back to back set and he’ll presumably repeat his efforts. He’s having a strong season so far with 20.8 PPG, 9.4 RPG, and a career-high 6.3 APG. He’ll make his second appearance in the NBA All-Star game this weekend due to his strong individual play that’s helped push the Rockets into the third seed in the West.
The Clippers are graded as the league’s 20th best defense, and this was before they shipped away James Harden and Ivica Zubac. While Zubac wasn’t exactly a tremendous rim protector, his loss will still leave the Clips one big body short of being able to bother Sengun inside.
De’Aaron Fox More Than 6.5 Assists
Fox is at 6.2 APG on the season, so 6.5 is slightly above baseline. However, his recent passing run supports the nudge. He’s posting 7.0 APG over his last 10 games.
His matchup tonight is where this gets interesting. The Warriors are allowing 28.5 opponent APG over their last 10 games. That’s good news for Fox because it usually means opponents are getting into actions cleanly and finishing possessions with an extra pass.
On the injury side, Golden State is still missing Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler, with De’Anthony Melton questionable. Even if their defense stays competitive, those absences can change who’s taking the toughest on-ball minutes and how often help has to rotate. Fox could be looking at some big assist numbers tonight, especially since Stephon Castle is in danger of missing tonight’s contest. Castle left last night’s game early in the second quarter due to taking a hard fall.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
