A Big 12 contest between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Arizona State Sun Devils is taking place at 9:00 p.m. ET. The Cowboys enter this matchup with a 16-7 record while ASU is 12-12 on the season. Oklahoma State is 10th (4-6) in the Big 12, while Arizona State is 14th (3-8). The Sun Devils are coming off a loss to Colorado and are 4-10 in their last 14 games. Oklahoma State recently suffered a 27-point loss to Arizona in its last game and is 4-6 over its previous 10.

Even though Oklahoma State has four more wins than Arizona State, the Sun Devils are -2.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here is my best bet for the Oklahoma State-Arizona State college basketball contest.

Oklahoma State vs. Arizona State (9:00 p.m. ET)

Oklahoma State is coming off a massive loss to Arizona, but they beat Utah and BYU before that. Scoring only 47 points seems to be an outlier for the Cowboys, as their previous scoring low of the season was 65 points. Oklahoma State’s leading scorer, Anthony Roy, averages 17.8 points this season. Although Roy scored only 10 points against Arizona, he had recorded 30 and 26 points in the two previous games. Roy is one of four Cowboys who average double-digit points.

Arizona State began the season 9-2 but has since gone 3-10 in its last 13 contests. The Sun Devils have struggled in Big 12 play, with their last three conference victories coming against Utah (9-14), Cincinnati (12-12), and Kansas State (10-13). Arizona State’s last win against a team with a record above .500 was Santa Clara on December 13. Maurice Odum averages 17.2 points and 6.2 assists per contest to lead ASU.

Oklahoma State has a much better offense than Arizona State possesses. The Cowboys score 84.8 points per game, the fourth most in the Big 12. The Sun Devils average only 78.5 points, the fifth-fewest in the conference. Arizona State is 3-9 in its last 12 contests, but it has only won one game in that span by at least five points. Taking Oklahoma State +4.5 is my favorite play in this contest, given their upside against a poor defensive team in ASU.
