With football season finally over, that means baseball is right around the corner. Spring Training is about to get underway, starting the long march towards the 2026 World Series. Of course, the 2026 World Baseball Classic will interrupt a bit of the normal preseason action, but that international tournament won’t begin until March. And even once that starts, MLB will stick to its regularly scheduled programming without the players representing their countries.
Half of MLB will be setting up shop in Florida, while the other half will be camped out in Arizona for the month. The New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles will open exhibition play in the Grapefruit League on Friday, February 20, while six teams will compete in the Cactus League that day.
Before that, though, MLB teams need some time to get loose and ready for competition. Here are the key dates for every single club as they gear up for spring training.
