Who was named MVP of Super Bowl 60?

A few hours prior to the start of Super Bowl 60, Sam Darnold was the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP.

Darnold went 19-of-38 for 202 yards and a touchdown. But instead it was running back Kenneth Walker III who was named Super Bowl LX MVP.

Prior to kickoff, Walker was +850 to win the award, the fourth-lowest odds.

Walker was tremendous, rushing 27 times for 135 yards while catching two passes for 26 yards. He ran with power and patience inside. He was uber effective off tackle. New England had difficulty tackling him and keeping up with his pace. His ability to churn out yards against what was one of the best run defenses in the league (sixth-lowest EPA per carry allowed) was pivotal in allowing Seattle to control the game.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
