UPDATE: The Seahawks are just trying to kill the clock with a 29-13 lead and just a few minutes remaining. Darnold is currently 19/38 for 202 yards and a touchdown as he is soon to be crowned a Super Bowl champion.
UPDATE: Another drive, another field goal. After a Drake Maye interception, the Seahawks started the 12th drive with great field position but were unable to do much with it. They now lead 22-7 and Darnold is 19/38 for 202 yards and a touchdown.
UPDATE: Drake Maye responded with a Patriots touchdown, and the Seahawks gave them the ball right back. Darnold completed one pass on the drive for 11 yards. Through 11 drives, he is 18/37 for 199 yards and a touchdown.
UPDATE: We have a touchdown. After good field position from a Drake Maye turnover, Sam Darnold and the Seahawks have scored a touchdown. Darnold threw a 16-yard strike to AJ Barner as Seattle has opened up a 19-point lead.
UPDATE: Seattle went three and out again. Darnold completed one of two passes on the drive for eight yards.
UPDATE: The Seahawks went three and out on the eighth drive. Darnold completed his only attempt for four yards.
UPDATE: Another drive, another field goal. Darnold completed passes on that drive to Shaheed, JSN and Walker III while adding a few rushing yards of his own. He is now 12/27 for 140 yards through seven drives.
UPDATE: Another drive, another field goal for the Seahawks. Darnold completed a few short passes on the drive but continues to struggle. He is now 9/22 for 88 yards, but his team leads 9-0 due to a terrific defensive display and a running game that has done some damage.
UPDATE: On the fifth drive, Darnold completed passes to Cooper Kupp and Kenneth Walker III. He failed to connect with Walker III on third down to extend the drive as Seattle ends up punting it away.
UPDATE: Kenneth Walker III got the Seahawks down the field on the fourth drive as Darnold failed to complete both of his passes. Seattle hit a field goal to take a 6-0 lead in the game and Darnold is now only 4/13 for 54 yards.
UPDATE: Darnold is struggling early on. Another drive for Seattle goes to waste as Darnold completes one of three of his passes for 12 yards. He is now 4/10 for 54 yards.
UPDATE: On the second drive of the game, Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba came close to hitting a homerun shot on third down but it did not pay off. Seattle went three and out, with all three passing attempts going to JSN. Darnold is now 3/7 for 42 yards through two drives.
UPDATE: On the first drive of the game, Sam Darnold and the Seahawks drove down the field and kicked a field goal to take a 3-0 lead in the game. Darnold completed 2/4 passes for 38 yards on the drive. His completions went to AJ Barner and Cooper Kupp.
