The stage is set for a fantastic matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. Every single playmaker will need to step up in this game on the biggest stage possible, meaning Kenneth Walker III has the opportunity to make a major impact… and potentially help earn a hefty contract in the process.

Seattle is a 4.5-point favorite with the game total set at 45.5 combined points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are the best Rashid Shaheed prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Seahawks vs. Patriots in Super Bowl 60.

The Seattle backfield frustrated bettors and fantasy managers throughout the regular season as Walker split time with Zach Charbonnet. In what was effectively an exact 50/50 split of rushing work, Walker finished the campaign with 221 carries for 1,027 rushing yards and five touchdowns, averaging an efficient 4.6 YPC in the process. He ranked fifth in forced missed tackles with 61 in the ground game, also ending the regular season with 33 rushes of 10+ yards, sixth-most.

In the playoffs, an unfortunate ACL tear for Charbonnet thrust Walker into a workhorse role as well. He’s taken 19 carries in each postseason game, rushing for 116 and 62 yards with four total touchdowns over the two-outing sample. He eclipsed 100 scrimmage yards in both contests as well, thanks in no small part to his upside as a pass catcher.

Now, he’ll truly be tested by the Patriots’ defense. New England ranks fourth in opponent rushing yards allowed per game with 97.2, also holding three playoff opponents to a miniscule 71.3 per contest. Additionally, this unit has allowed just 11 rushing touchdowns, though it does fall 16th in defensive EPA/rush.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Walker’s prop bet lines are set at O/U 18.5 rush attempts, 71.5 rushing yards and a longest rush of 18.5 yards. His receiving lines sit at 2.5 receptions and 22.5 receiving yards. Finally his odds of an anytime touchdown are listed at -190, shortest of any player in this game.

It’s admittedly somewhat difficult to find the best value here. Walker is a great runner who should see the lion’s share of touches in the backfield as a true workhorse, but he gets a matchup against a standout front seven playing its best football of the season against opposing halfbacks. His receiving props are interesting, but the Seahawks don’t generally prioritize throwing to the running back with the position garnering the fifth-lowest positional target share.

However, there is a line I do quite like, and it brings better value than the -141 odds on over 2.5 receptions. Instead of targeting that traditional O/U, 4+ receptions offers +171 value and there’s a real case this prop can hit in Super Bowl 60.

The Patriots allow the seventh-lowest aDOT to opposing offenses at 7.67 yards, meaning they generally take away deeper passing concepts while funneling the football short of the sticks. While any position can benefit from that, the running back sees a unique opportunity to cash in since they often find themselves as a checkdown option out in the flat. When pressure comes — and it will, since New England falls sixth in pressure rate, per PFF — quarterback Sam Darnold may have to rely on Walker as a safety valve. Beyond that factor, the Patriots also come in at eighth in targets per game (5.85) and ninth in receptions per game (4.65) allowed to halfbacks. Again, forcing opponents to target shorter distances helps fuel that trend.

Walker hauled in three passes in the Divisional Round and four passes in the NFC Championship Game, so we’ve seen a greater reliance on his receiving abilities in recent weeks with elevated stakes. Plus, he tied his season-high snap share of 63% in the NFCCG. That bodes well to see plenty of playing time once again, potentially hauling in four passes in what projects as something of a grinding game.

Best Bet: Kenneth Walker III 4+ receptions (+171)
