All eyes are on Santa Clara on Sunday night, as the Seattle Seahawks meet the New England Patriots for Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium.
It’s a shot at redemption for the Seahawks, who famously lost at the one-yard line on a game-losing interception against the Patriots in their last trip to the Big Game back in 2015. Nine years later, they’ll be leaning on veteran quarterback Sam Darnold and his pass-catchers, including fourth-year wideout Rashid Shaheed.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Seattle enters as a 4.5-point favorite, while New England sits as a +195 underdog. The game’s total is set at 45.5 points.

Seattle bolstered its receiving corps at the NFL trade deadline, sending a haul of draft picks to New Orleans for Rashid Shaheed. The fourth-year receiver has appeared in nine games so far, primarily being utilized on the special teams unit — and for good reason.
Shaheed broke out for a 58-yard punt return touchdown in Week 16 against the Rams — just two weeks after taking a kickoff from coast-to-coast against the Falcons. And who could forget how he set the tone for Seattle’s postseason push?
However, Shaheed’s dominance within the special teams unit saw him take a backseat in the receiving room. The former Weber State standout failed to record multiple receptions in six of nine games after the deadline, falling below 22.5 receiving yards in each such matchup.
Shaheed’s role as a pass-catcher has remained minuscule in the playoffs. He caught just one pass in Seattle’s first two postseason games — albeit a 51-yard moonshot from Sam Darnold.
But don’t expect lightning to strike the same place twice. Buried in a receiving room headlined by star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and standing across from a stout New England defense, don’t expect Shaheed to clear 22.5 receiving yards in his perpetually limited role on Super Bowl Sunday.
