Albazi is 17-2 with 14 finishes, but is making his first appearance tonight since November 2024. Horiguchi has a record of 35-5 with 21 finishes and is 7-1 in the UFC through two stints.

Kyoji Horiguchi to win by decision (-130)
Before Albazi lost to Brandon Moreno, Albazi won his first five fights in the UFC. But after a long layoff, Albazi hasn’t won a fight since June 2023. Albazi is still the younger fighter in this contest by three years, as Horiguchi is 35. In November 2025, Kyoji Horiguchi made his UFC return after nine years away from the promotion. Horiguchi defeated Tagir Ulanbekov by submission, which was his first UFC win since November 2016. A little over two months after his last victory, Horiguchi is back and looking to continue his winning streak.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the former Bellator and Rizin Champion is a -360 favorite with Albazi being a +285 underdog. On paper, Albazi has a five-inch reach advantage (68″ vs. 63″) and is taller (5’5″ vs. 5’4″). Including stats from Horiguchi’s first run in the UFC, he averages more significant takedowns per minute (3.64 vs. 2.72) and lands more takedowns per 15 minutes (1.80 vs. 1.39).
After his previous win, Horiguchi enters this fight with a ton of momentum, while the opposite is true for Albazi, who hasn’t fought in 15 months. Even though Horiguchi won his last fight by submission, his two previous wins were by decision. That is why my favorite play in this contest is Horiguchi to win by decision at -130.
