Super Bowl 60: LeBron James’ Big Game Football Picks, Predictions

Updated:

By: Andy Silva

It all comes down to this — months of gridiron action have seen 32 teams whittled down to two. The AFC champion New England Patriots will take on the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60 and LeBron James is back with his picks for the Big Game.

New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks

In this rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, LeBron sees the Seahawks bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to the Pacific Northwest. LeBron specifically highlights the Seahawks’ unbelievable defense as well as its loaded offense, led by Sam Darnold. Given that both teams are well-coached, LeBron thinks the game could come down to special teams and turnovers — whoever controls the turnover battle will control the game.

Pick: Seahawks -230

LeBron James’ Super Bowl MVP pick

When it comes to Super Bowl MVP, LeBron is eying Sam Darnold. LeBron says Darnold was a high pick (No. 3 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft) for a reason and he likes the underdog approach Darnold has adopted since leaving the Jets. LeBron thinks this Seattle coaching staff has put Darnold in a position to show he belongs on the big stage.

Pick: Sam Darnold +120

LeBron James’ Players To Watch

LeBron also gave out his picks for some players to watch in the Big Game. Here’s who he thinks you should be keeping your eye on:

  • Kenneth Walker
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba
  • Stefon Diggs
  • Drake Maye
  • Sam Darnold
