UPDATE: Doncic is out indefinitely and will miss the rest of the regular season.
UPDATE: Doncic will not return to the game due to left leg soreness.
With 3:03 left in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Luka Doncic was replaced by LeBron James. There’s been no mention of what exactly happened to Doncic, but he walked straight to the locker room while grabbing at his left hamstring.
Prior to exiting, Doncic contributed 10 points, four rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes of action.
Doncic garners a massive 38% usage rate, so if he’s out for an extended period of time, James would shoulder more of the offensive load as well as Austin Reaves, but he is just returning from injury so the ramp-up phase may still be in effect.
If Doncic is unable to return to the game, he would be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit because he left the game prior to halftime.
