With 6:02 left in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Washington Wizards, Jalen Duren was replaced by Isaiah Stewart. It initially looked like a simple substitution, but Duren did not return for the rest of the half. Then Ron Holland II started the second half for him. Duren has now been ruled out for the rest of the game due to right knee soreness. There’s been no mention of when the injury occurred.

Prior to exiting, Duren contributed four points and three rebounds in 13 minutes of action.

If Duren is out for an extended period of time, Stewart and Paul Reed would be the biggest beneficiaries.

Since Duren exited the game prior to halftime and did not return, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
