The stage is set for a fantastic matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. One player flying under the radar as a potential difference maker? Rashid Shaheed, deep threat receiver and return specialist.

Seattle is a 4.5-point favorite with the game total set at 45.5 combined points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are the best Rashid Shaheed prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Seahawks vs. Patriots in Super Bowl 60.

An acquisition at the midseason mark via trade, Rashid Shaheed made his way to Seattle with the potential to become an elite big-play threat in a potent offense. Some weeks, that appears to have panned out only about half the time with several boom weeks scattered in with plenty of low-volume, low-yardage outings in the game log. The former Saint logged 59 catches for 687 yards and two receiving touchdowns on the campaign, but recorded only 15 receptions for 188 yards in a Seahawks uniform. However, much of his value to this team has come on special teams, posting excellent numbers as a punt and kickoff returner with three touchdowns in that area of the game.

This matchup isn’t the easiest for Seattle’s pass catchers. The Patriots rank ninth in passing yards allowed this season and 11th in defensive EPA/pass. They aren’t entirely invulnerable though, giving up 25 passing touchdowns while also allowing a completion percentage of 66.41%, the league’s ninth-highest rate. To wide receivers in particular, New England concedes the eighth-fewest targets (16.60) and catches (10.05) along with the fourth-fewest yards (116.20) on a per-game basis.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Shaheed’s prop bet lines are set at O/U 1.5 receptions and 22.5 receiving yards. His longest reception line sits at 15.5 yards and his odds of an anytime touchdown are listed at +370, 10th on the leaderboard among players in this game.

Shaheed’s production is largely a coin flip since arriving in Seattle. He’s played 11 games with the team, recording at least three targets in five of those but two or fewer in the other six. In terms of yardage, he’s eclipsed his receiving line in four outings but failed to even reach double-digit yards in the other seven… including three games of zero yards.

Now, the Seahawks may try and use Shaheed a little bit more than usual, evidenced perhaps by a 57% snap share in the NFC Championship Game that was his highest since Week 15. However, he still saw just three targets and caught only one ball, though that catch went for 51 yards.

With an unpredictable workload and a shaky track record, I’m taking the under on Shaheed’s receptions line at +109 odds. The last time he caught multiple passes was December 14 in Week 15, and he’s stayed under 1.5 receptions five straight outings as well as eight of his 11 total contests in Seattle. His role is simply too difficult to project heavy volume for, so I’m very comfortable fading him as a receiver in the Super Bowl… though his anytime touchdown prop is worth sprinkling at +370 given his ability as a returner.

Best Bet: Rashid Shaheed under 1.5 receptions (+109)
